4. VISITOR DATA MANAGEMENT - INFORMATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES
4.1 The visitor to the website must be informed about the use of cookies on the website and must be asked for his/her consent.
4.2 Depending on the type of cookies used, the range of data concerned by the cookies during the visit may include, among others, the IP address used by the visitor, the type of browser, the characteristics of the operating system of the device used for browsing (e.g. language set), the time of the visit, the (sub)page, function or service visited, the action, the click.
4.3 The purpose of data processing is to ensure the functional operation and use of the website, to ensure access to the website services, to increase the efficiency of the service, to increase the user experience, to make the use of the website more convenient, to analyse the website, to place and display advertisements.
4.4 The legal basis for the processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject - the visitor - which can be given or refused by ticking the checkbox in the cookie bar on the website. The choice is made by ticking the box and saving the choice. By saving, your choice will be stored and the user will be able to use the website accordingly. Please note that if you refuse the use of cookies, certain functions of the site may not function correctly. Pursuant to Article 13/A(3) of Act CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce services and information society services (Elkertv.), the website provider may process personal data that are technically necessary for the provision of the service. Other conditions being equal, the provider must choose and in any case operate the means used in the provision of the information society service in such a way that personal data are processed only if absolutely necessary for the provision of the service and for the fulfilment of the other purposes specified in the Act, but in this case only to the extent and for the duration necessary.
4.5. Címzettek: az adatkezelő munkavállalói, az IT szolgáltató adatfeldolgozó munkatársai, harmadik fél sütijei esetén a harmadik fél is.
4.6. Duration of data storage: according to the browser's cookie settings.
4.7. A cookie can have a validity period, valid until the browser is closed, but also indefinitely. The danger is that the user is not always aware of this and it can be used to track the user by the website operator or other (third) service providers whose content is embedded in the site (e.g. Facebook, Google Analytics), thereby creating a profile of the user, in which case the content of the cookie can be considered personal data.
The types of cookies are usually distinguished according to the functions they perform or the purposes for which they are used, there is no uniform terminology, and there may be overlap between the different groups.
ad 1. These are also called session cookies or functional cookies. Their essence is that without them the site would simply not function, they provide the minimum conditions necessary for the correct functioning of the website. They are needed to identify the user, e.g. to manage whether they have logged in, etc. This is typically the storage of a session ID, the rest of the data is stored on the server, which is more secure. Other terminology refers to all cookies as session cookies, which are deleted when the visitor exits the browser (a session is one browser use from start to close). The duration of the data processing of these cookies is limited to the current visit of the visitor, and this type of cookie is automatically deleted from the computer at the end of the session or when the browser is closed.
ad 2. Usage cookies: these are also known by various names: analytical, analytical site development or statistics cookies. These cookies remember the user's choices, such as what form the user wants the page to take. These types of cookies are essentially the preferences data stored in the cookie.
ad 3. These are also called performance cookies, experience cookies, marketing cookies. They have little to do with "performance", which is usually the name given to cookies that collect information about a user's behaviour, time spent on a website, clicks and visits. They are also linked to social media. These are typically third-party applications (e.g. Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Like Box or Yandex.ru cookies). They can be used to profile the visitor.
Such cookies may also transfer data to third countries - acceptance of the use of cookies by the user also implies consent to the transfer of data to third countries.
